​ KYY Residence and Retail Store

With Istanbul's urban transformation, industrial production zones evolved into residential and tourism areas, and significantly affected the Rami region around the Golden Horn. The

KY Residence and Retail Store project in this region is an alternative to the city view in the Istanbul peninsula for increased housing potential.

The ground floor of the project consists of shops on the main street and side streets and the inner market units. The 5-storey residential block starting from the 1st floor has been

placed in a way to create an inner garden for social use and to protect this garden from the streets. The courtyard meets the functions such as pool, social facility, eating and

outdoor sports activities. Facades facing the garden and the cityscape are provided with glass facades, balconies and sun blinds with wooden sliding shutters.

Facades facing the street were created with smaller windows and balcony openings, reducing the noise of the city, and enriched with floor garden openings in places.
